INGREDIENTS
Flour 2 cups
Baking powder 2&1/2 teaspoon
Nutella chocolate 1 cup
Sugar 3/4 cup
Eggs 4
Butter 1/2 cup
Milk –add as needed to make the desired consistency
TOPPING
Double cream
Nutella 6 tablespoons
Chocolate powder 4 tablespoons
Icing sugar 4 tablespoons
Butter 2 tablespoons
Milk 1 tablespoon
METHOD

First of all, sieve together all the dry
ingredients.

Beat the eggs till they become foamy.
·
In another bowl beat the butter, add in it
sugar, when it is completely mixed, transfer to the bowl containing beaten
eggs.
·
Now add flour as well as nutella chocolate, mix
well till all the ingredients are combined well.
·
Add milk as needed if batter is thick, in order
to get the desired consistency needed for the cake batter.
·
Pre-heat oven at 180oC for 10
minutes.
·
Grease the pan and transfer the content to it, and
place it in the oven.
·
Bake for 20 minutes on gas mark 3.
FOR TOPPING
·
When the cake is ready, take it out of oven and
allow it to cool.
·
Spread nutella to the cake.
·
Make chocolate sauce, adding together all the
ingredients that are chocolate powder, milk, butter and icing sugar, cook on
low flame, mix together well.
·
When even composition chocolate mixture is
ready, spread it to the entire cake.
·
Keep it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to
allow the chocolate glaze to set well.
·
Add the double cream in the piping bag containing
the smallest nozzle.
·
Make rounds to the whole cake.
·
With the knife with its blunt end facing the cake
make longitudinal lines, each passing through the center of the cake through
the penetration of knife to about 2 mm.
·
Now your chocolate spider web cake is ready!
