CHICKEN SANDWICH


Making chicken sandwich with the coating of bread crumbs is really a good idea. It provides maximum coating, tender binding, crunchy and crispy taste. It can be served as snack or as a side dish. The quantity I mentioned is sufficient to make about 10 sandwiches. You can add green chilies as additional, if you like your snack to taste spicy.

INGREDIENTS
Chicken 1 cup
Mayonnaise 1/2 cup
Black pepper 1 teaspoon
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Capsicum 1 small
Ginger and Garlic paste 1 tablespoon
Chaat masala 1 teaspoon
Bread crumbs as needed
Oil 2 cups

METHOD
·         Boil the chicken in 3/4 cup of water, add 1/2 salt, add also ginger and garlic paste, cook till all the liquid dries.
·         Allow the chicken to cool and shred it, chop the capsicum to small pieces and cut the bread into round shape using cutter.

·         To the shredded chicken add the capsicum, mayonnaise, black pepper and chaat masala, and mix well.

·         Add this mixture to the round shape bread, cover the filling with another bread piece sandwiching the chicken mixture.

·         Beat an egg, and dip the sandwich first in the egg, then in bread crumbs, fully cover the sandwich in the bread crumbs.

·         Heat oil in the wok, dip the sandwiches and fry till turns golden brown.
·         Remove the excess oil using absorbent material and serve hot.
