Trifle is an English dessert which contains, milk added with
corn flour to make custard, sugary syrups, fruits and their juices, also
contain cakes added to enhance the taste, mostly topping is with the thick
cream. It also contains jellies added to give it a good look.
Milk 1 liter
Sugar 3/4 cup
Corn flour 3 tablespoons
Mixed fruit cocktail small tin
Almonds 12
Desiccated coconut 3 tablespoons
Chocolate chips 3 tablespoons
Pineapple jelly 1 packet
Mango jelly 1 packet
Double cream 1 cup
METHOD

Prepare jellies, according to the directions
mentioned on the label, and set in the container you desire, allow it to cool
completely for about 45minutes.

Dissolve corn flour in 6 tablespoons of milk.

Crush almonds to smaller pieces.
·
Boil
milk in the container, when the milk boils add the sugar and cook on medium
flame till all the sugar is dissolved.

Then
add the corn flour paste and further cook till the content attains a thick
consistency, in about 15 to 20 minutes.

Then
turn off the flame, transfer to the container and allow it to cool completely.
·
When
it is completely cooled, add in the mixed fruit cocktail and mix well.
·
Cut
cubes of the jellies and sprinkle on the top of the trifle, also sprinkle
chocolate chips and desiccated coconut and pour double cream on top.

Keep
in the refrigerator and serve chill!
