Almond Cookies

The art of baking is felt when the term is referred to bake cookies, it is fun for one who is skilled in the art and the art comes from the repeated trials. Yes, of course! To make the taste pleasing, the cookies to be crispiest and finest at its best is necessary. The recipe I bring for my readers is none other than the almond cookies.

FOR THIS YOU WILL NEED

·         Almonds 10

·         Clarified Butter 1/2 cup

·         All-purpose flour 1 cup

·         Icing Sugar 1/2 cup

·         Egg 1

·         Baking powder 3/4 teaspoon

METHOD

·         First of all, preheat the oven at 1600, at gas mark 3 for 10 minutes.

·         Sieve all the dry powders that are all-purpose flour, baking powder and icing sugar, mix them well and keep aside.

·         In another bowl, beat an egg.

·         Add clarified butter to the dry powder mixture, and mix well for few minutes until the content is uniformly distributed.

·         Add egg as little as needed in making the dough, then mix well again.

·         Slice the almonds to pieces and add them in the dough, mix well to uniformly distribute it with the dough.

·         Now, dust the surface or rolling table with the flour and roll the dough on the surface or rolling table with the rolling pin.

·         Grease the baking tray with butter and cut the cookies from the dough using the cookie cutter and place them in the baking tray.

·         Keep it in the oven at 1600 for 12 to 15 minutes.

·         Take it out of the oven and keep to cool on rack for about 15 minutes, in order to make them turn crispy.

·         Keep in the air tight container and enjoy the cookies.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

·         If you are new in baking, first of all you make the dough, and arrange all the cookies on tray which you want to bake at a time, and then set your oven to preheat, this is necessary to save electricity or gas and your cookies to be ready in time described.

·         Secondly, if you are making cookies for the first time in your life, you should to remember that never judge and disappoint yourself when those look a little soft to touch, let them cool first then definitely they turn crispy.

·         Never cook your cookies on gas mark 4, now what is gas mark 4? This is actually heat from the top and bottom in the oven. If you bake on gas mark 4 your cookies will burn.

I hope this is informative for the one who wish to start baking from now. This is my experience, and different people have different opinions, if you wish you can share your experience as well, as helping others console our own selves.
